Anhinga - This large bird (it measures up to three feet long) lives in swamps, ponds, and rivers. It has a long thin neck, small head and pointed bill. Its feathers are glossy black with silver markings on the back of the wings and neck. Its main source of food is fish, however, it will also eat other small animals.
